Privacy Policy

Nesher Academy is a brand of DiazApps, the entity responsible for processing the personal data collected through this platform. For anything related to your data, write to us at nesheracademy@gmail.com.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we need it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

Data you give us directly

• Account: name, email address and an encrypted password. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email and profile picture from them.
• Profile: profile picture and any optional information you choose to add.
• Instructors: résumé and identity document, used solely to verify the identity and credentials of whoever teaches. These are never published.
• Content you post: reviews, forum messages and assessment answers.
• Local payments: transfer receipt and payment reference when you choose that method.

Data generated as you use the platform

• Academic progress: enrolled courses, completed lessons, assessment attempts and results.
• Live sessions: bookings, schedules and, if recording is enabled, the link to the session recording.
• Technical data: access logs and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

• Creating and maintaining your account and granting access to the courses you buy.
• Processing payments, issuing invoices and managing your membership.
• Recording your progress and issuing completion certificates.
• Arranging live sessions with instructors and sending you the access links.
• Sending you operational email: account activation, password recovery, purchase confirmations and course notices.
• Moderating reviews and forum content.
• Detecting fraud and misuse of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to run the platform, and only the information each one requires:

• Stripe — payment and subscription processing. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never store them.
• Cloudinary and Mux — image and video hosting and playback.
• Zoom — live training sessions.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• OpenAI — AI assistance features. The text of your query is sent; your payment details and identity documents are not.
• Google and GitHub — only if you choose to sign in with them.

We may also disclose information when legally required to do so by a competent authority.

• Account and progress data: for as long as your account is active.
• Invoices and payment records: for the period required by applicable tax law, even after you close your account.
• Instructor verification documents: until the relationship ends, unless we are legally required to keep them longer.

You can request access to your data, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy or object to certain processing at any time. Write to us at nesheracademy@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account and we will reply within 30 days at the latest.

Deleting your account removes your profile and your progress. It does not remove accounting records we are legally required to keep, nor already published reviews, which will remain anonymously.

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic travels over HTTPS and database access is restricted. No system is invulnerable: if we detect a breach affecting your data, we will notify you by email.

Nesher Academy is intended for people over 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. Minors between 13 and 17 may only use the platform with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account. If we detect an account belonging to a child under 13 without verifiable consent, we will delete it along with its data.

If we change this policy, we will update the date in the header. If the change materially affects how we handle your data, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
